To satisfy the need for a solution providing absolute control for boxes of inserts at the item level, SupplyPro has developed the SmartDrawer Box Dispenser (SBD)as an enhancement to the customizable SmartDrawer.

SBD protects usage of costly cutting tool inserts. Inserts, commonly used in the metalworking industry, are frequently lost, misplaced, and unavailable mission critical tools that can halt the completion of a job. The SBD solution expands the capabilities of our standard SmartDrawer, reducing consumption and waste, and providing inventory control and efficiency to client processes.

With the SmartDrawer Box Dispenser and our SupplyPort technology, customers are able to:

• Minimize waste and authorize use of manufacturing equipment
• Recover and allocate tooling insert costs
• Manage, support, and track assets
• Maintain timely and up-to-date information on tooling insert usage
• Prevent and identify insert inventory shortages
• Reduce space requirements and overhead

SBD cassettes support a myriad of insert package sizes, including standard insert packages.
Cassettes are available in three sizes:

• Type 1 - single wide, single deep - 60 x 114 x 22.5
• Type 2 - double wide, single deep - 162 x 114 x 22.5
• Type 4 - double wide, double deep - 162 x 114 x 54.5

Drawers are configured to accomodate 96 -Type 1 cassettes, 6-Type 2 cassettes, and 4-Type 4 cassettes for 108 individually addressable positions.
